Last week I started a series on investment piece vs. impulse shopping. Now, let me start today by saying, I am definitely not an expert at this! That is why I want to challenge myself in this area. I am actually really bad at saving up money for wish list items, BUT this is definitely something I want to improve! With that being said, I have begun to assess my possessions and make lists of “necessities” that I would like to save money for. These are mostly things that I go through on a consistent basis because I often sacrifice quality for quantity. This is my biggest weakness when it comes to shopping! I would rather have five of one things rather than one or two really well made pieces. You can read more about this struggle in my intro post.
08. A well made wallet. This is somewhere I tend to slack on in quality. The reality is I use my wallet more than I use my handbags so it’s about time I invest in something that isn’t going to fall apart in a few months.
